Charity Trustees wanted

Human Rights Investigations is looking to recruit trustees to become members of a future Human Rights Investigations Board. We expect Human Rights Investigations to register as a charity, as well as as a company limited by guarantee.

We would welcome expressions of interest from individuals with enthusiasm, skills and experience in the fields of charity governance, charity development and/or human rights.

In general, a trustee would be required to attend four meetings per year predominantly in London, UK.

Voluntary position as part-time translator/researcher (Arabic to English)

Human Rights Investigations is looking for a translator/researcher to research and provide translations of materials relating to our human rights work.

The work relates to our investigations of human rights issues in Arabic-speaking countries and will consist of providing translations of video and internet materials.

Requirements: Fluency in Arabic and English, objectivity, commitment to human rights, willingness to analyse videos which in some cases involve human rights atrocities, internet savy, organised and reliable.

Preferred: Experience in translation work, research experience.

Hours are flexible. Work from home.
