Human rights investigations
After being bombarded by Grad rockets, the town of Bani Walid has now been largely occupied by militiamen (including the some of the same Misrata militiamen responsible for the ethnic cleansing of the Tawergha, the slaughter of prisoners in Sirte and other war crimes.)
According to NATO figures, coalition aircraft delivered 415 key strikes on the town of Sirte between Sunday 28th August and Thursday 20th October. We have compared this to the bombing of Guernica and other comparisons have been made to the widely condemned levelling of Grozny.
